Made in France in the nineteenth century, this grand, pure white alabaster pedestal is shaped in a Neoclassical style form.
A round table surface tops the pedestal, beneath which are variously sized circular supports. The ridged column stem is mounted on a stepped round base. The pedestal’s shape is reminiscent of a Roman Doric column with a simple, paired-down design.
This wonderfully crafted pedestal will make an outstanding addition to the appropriate interior or exterior setting on which other decorative objects of choice can be mounted.
