19th Century ivory box in the form of a crab

The box is expertly carved in ivory, realistically depicted as a crab. To the rear underside of the shell, the box is hinged and opens upwards from the front. A silver clasp sits on the front side of the lid, and stones are used to depict the crab's eyes.
