Description

The glass cup is flared in shape, and set on a round base with cut glass decoration. There are enamel decorations to the front of the cup, which depict the front view of St Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna, with detailed gilding around. The decorations have been created after a cup by Anton Kothgasser (Austrian, 1769-1851), a famous glass painter of the Biedermeier era of the early 19th Century.
