Antique carved hardwood and upholstery English Victorian stool

This very fine antique piece is a large Victorian carved hardwood and upholstery stool, featuring a pleasing combination of carpentry and a stretched period tapestry over the upholstery.

Made during the course of the nineteenth century, it is an elegant piece, with a simple yet ornate framework underneath, and a large, wide, rectangular cushion above, which is in fine condition and featues a streched Victorian period upholstery in a floral style to surmount.
