This elegant chandelier is crafted from bronze and alabaster in a classicising style. The chandelier is of bowl form, and features an alabaster bowl intricately shaped with a waist. The alabaster is carved from solid stone, revealing the rich veining of the mineral, which demonstrates a beautiful quality when illuminated. The circular meridian of the chandelier is wrought from bronze and is moulded with a foliate frieze. The meridian is suspended by three chains from an ornate bronze ceiling mount. The chandelier contains three light fittings.
