The circular enamel dial signed 'Autray / Paris' within a circular ormolu (gilt bronze) case of unusual design with circular roundel above depicting a relief of two cherubs and an ormolu hanging in the form of a velvet support and ribbon surmount, stamped on the reverse '1853' and 'CA'.
