The table consists of a hexagonal top supported by a hexagonal frame. The top contains a central circular plaque inlaid with mother of pearl to reveal an intricate motif in the wood. Around this there are alternating concentric hexagonal bands of hardwood and hardwood inlaid with mother of pearl in diamond form. The edge of the table top is slightly raised above the centre, and contains the same alternating hexagonal bands. The frame is carved at the bottom with Moorish-style arches, above which there are square friezes plaques showing diamond and circular shaped mother of pearl inlays, framed inside strips of lighter-coloured wood.
