Description

The rectangular inkstand is set on four ormolu paw feet and is decorated on all sides with brass and tortoiseshell inlays in the style of the famed French cabinetmaker Andre Charles Boulle. It contains two cut glass inkwells, with ormolu lids and further brass and tortoiseshell Boulle marquetry on the top.
