Description

The table is of oval shape and crafted in ebonised wood, which is inlaid to the top, edges and legs with finely inlaid brass and tortoiseshell Boulle marquetry. The tabletop features an edging of ormolu mounts, and to the centre of each of the sides of the table is set an ormolu head. On one of the sides is a central drawer. The four legs are of cabriole form, and feature scrolling caryatid ormolu mounts as well as ormolu mounted feet.
