The lamp is set on a tripod base with paw feet. The ormolu stem has been cast with leaves and blossoms and terminates in three hanging glass lights which have been shaped to look like flower buds. The lamp has been attributed to the master bronzier of the late 19th Century, Ferdinand Barbedienne.
