This fine Empire period console table is crafted from mahogany, marble, and ormolu. The table features a rectangular grey marble plateau above an apron containing a frieze drawer, the front face of which is adorned with ormolu rosette and foliate mounts. The table is supported by four legs, the front two of blocky cabriole form, each terminating in a carved paw foot and each set to the scrolled shoulder with a pierced ormolu mount. The legs are set atop a mahogany rectangular table base.
