Description

The 19th Century in Persia, known as the Qajar period after its ruling dynasty, was renowned for the high quality of its decorative art, and this beautiful silver bottle bears testament to the quality achieved by its craftsmen. Its body is ovoid in shape, and decorated around its circular base with delicate geometric engravings. There are four oval-shaped relief panels around the sides of the bottle, each of which depicts warrior figures, mythical and real animals, and winged angels.The bottle comes with a removable cap which is surmounted by a finial.
