Description

The chandelier features ormolu (gilt bronze) arms, cast as scrolling leafy vines enclosing rosettes, which curl up to form foliate capitals, with spear-shaped blue cut glass light shades. From the ormolu scrolls, there also springs an outer level of ormolu twisting rope-like arms, which terminate in ormolu drip-pans, blue glass bobeches, and white candle-tubes. The chandelier’s arms are draped with clear cut glass chains, pendalgoues and prisms, and a blue ball finial hangs below. The body of the chandelier is composed of a shaped blue glass column and body dish. Clear glass chains are suspended from the arms of the chandelier to its ormolu top canopy, which crowns the stem. This canopy features scrolled leafy vines with rosette centres, from which hang cut glass ovals, diamonds and drops.

This chandelier is a beautiful piece of luxury lighting, which elegantly combines lustrous golden ormolu with clear and blue glass. The item will add grandeur and prestige to the hallway, living or dining room of a well-curated home.
