Description

This beautiful and unusual lobster inkstand is created to be anatomically accurate. It has a hinged cover which opens to reveal a fitted section with two associated inkwells- one white and one blue. The underside has a Victorian period registration stamp 'RD.. / 136502'.

The inkstand is both an intriguing and expertly made work of sculpture and also a functional piece, and would make a unique addition to a gentleman's study.
