Description

Capturing the playfulness and deep admiration for nature that define the Art Nouveau style, this walking stick was crafted during the height of the movement’s popularity.

The handle, made from hand-hammered silver, offers a richly textured surface that enhances both its aesthetic appeal and tactile experience. Ivy branches gracefully extend upward, culminating in two leaves. One of the swirling branches encircles a striking deep red glass cabochon, which shifts in hue depending on the light. Adding to its intricate design, two elegant dragonflies adorn the handle, their wings inlaid with shimmering mother-of-pearl, creating an iridescent effect. The combination of raised detailing and hammered silver results in a richly textured surface and adding to the desirability of the antique.

The shaft, crafted from fine hardwood, is complemented by a hand-hammered silver and gilt ferrule, providing a refined finishing touch.

Expertly designed and celebrating the organic beauty of the Art Nouveau era, this walking stick is a remarkable addition to any collection, particularly for those who appreciate nature-inspired artistry and masterful craftsmanship.
