Julius Greiner & Sohn (German, active from 1871)

Julius Greiner was a 19th Century German porcelain painter, who was well known for his delicately rendered KPM porcelain plaques.

In 1871, Greiner established the porcelain manufactory Julius Greiner & Sohn in Saxony-Meiningen, Germany. The firm specialized in the production of portraits painted after photographs, in addition to paintings of old and contemporary masters on porcelain plaques, vases and luxury items. The goods were exported to countries in Europe and America.
