de Angelis, Antonio (Italian, fl. early 19th Century)

Antonio De Angelis is famous for being one of the most gifted mosaicists active during the early years of 19th Century Rome and Milan. The artist is mentioned in an entry in the Archivo della Reverenda Fabbrica di San Pietro (May 19, 1816) as a mosaicist who also worked outside the Vatican Studios.
