Henry Stanton Lynton (1886-1912) was a highly respected British Victorian era painter, who was famous for his skilled Orientalist works.
Specialising in watercolour and oil painting, Stanton Lynton travelled extensively and produced many of his best works while situated in Europe and the Middle East. His depictions of Orientalist scenes and figures were particularly popular, due to the fascination with Middle Eastern culture in late 19th Century Britain.
