This collection of Chinese snuff bottles consists of twenty-six on a colourless ground and four with amber coloured ground, each with cover (two missing) and complete with fitted box cases. The snuff bottles are decorated with typically Chinese subjects and motifs- with depictions of female figures, birds (such as storks and chickens), and other animals. Some of the bottles are also decorated with Oriental landscape and court scenes.
