Description

The vitrine has a pink and grey veined marble top, which is surrounded by a pierced gallery frieze. Its body is richly veneered and encloses a glass shelf. The top corner of each side of the front of the vitrine is mounted with an ormolu Egyptian bust, and trailing palmetto and lyre-like motifs. The door is embellished with ormolu husk motifs above an ormolu mounted appliqué of a swan encircled within a garland of laurels, and is flanked on four sides with floral, lyre-like, and palmetto motifs, framed within a border of spirals and floral motifs and supported on ormolu paw feet.
