Description

This delicately painted porcelain plaque portrays a bouquet of flowers held within a vase. The lighting is spare, highlighting the flowerheads but rendering their stems, as well as much of the containing vase, barely visible. The artist has employed subdued, pastel tones to produce a delicate, subtle floral still life.

The work is held within a pierced edge, velvet-fronted giltwood frame.
