Depicting a bird, this quirky, characterful, and unique antique piece is a Persian 13th century ceramic bowl, made in the historic production centre of Kashan, a beautiful and immensely important cultural city in Northern Iran.

The centre of the piece shows a bird, painted in orange and brown earthern tones, somewhat traced in outline, framed within a scrolling arrangement of bands and ribbons, scattered with touches of green.
