Description

An exceptional piece of Neoclassical craftsmanship, this delicate and distinctive stand, with the inspiration it takes from various French royal styles, demonstrates superb attention to detail and great artistic skill. The galleried green square top is made of onyx, and is placed over a frieze mounted with Bacchic putti. This in turn is centered with a musical trophy and paterae to corners, and the whole array is raised on tapering legs, united by a stretcher centered by a flame finial, and ending in capped toupie feet.
