This beautiful French perfume casket is a superb example of nineteenth century French design. The set is comprised of a blue opaline glass casket and four perfume bottles. The opaline glass casket features a quatrefoil design, with the body surmounted by a hinged domed cover. The body is mounted with gilt brass to the rim and is set with twin looped scrollwork handles. The casket is inset with gilt brass bottle holders, likewise worked to resemble ropework.
The bottles are crafted from crystal and are set with silver-gilt necks and stoppers.
