This fine hall lantern is crafted from lustrous brass in a refined and elegant style. The lantern features a hexagonal drum body, with each of the six glazed sides set within a brass frame. The underside of the brass frame is adorned with bulbous finials, while the top features a series of six ornately scrolled brackets, from which the body of the lantern is suspended. The brackets attached to a central shaft, which terminates below in three lights and above in a brass ceiling mount moulded with acanthus leaves.
