Description

This Kiddush cup—a ceremonial cup used in various Jewish rites and festivals—is crafted from silver in an 18th Century German style. The cup features a hexagonal bowl, which is supported by a shaped stem set above a domed foot. The top register of the cup is inscribed with Hebrew characters, while the bottom of the bowl and the domed foot feature beautifully chased flowers and Rococo scrolled decoration.
