Gold, diamond, pearl and enamel photograph frame by Asprey

Diamonds, pearls, gold and enamel have been used to craft this superb four photograph, folding frame. It was manufactured by Asprey, the renowned British firm of goldsmiths, silversmiths, and jewellers.

Each of the four frames consists of a gold mount decorated in the middle of the four sides with rectangular diamond detailing. Pure white enamel fills the main body of the frames and forms an elegant canvas for the surrounding detailing. Glass inset inner frames are surrounded by an oval band of round, sparkling diamonds.

The four frames are attached with three identical, cylindrical supports. Manufactured out of gold with white enamel detailing, bands of diamonds are applied to each of the hinges. The top and bottom of the three supports are mounted with an iridescent pearl, adding yet another luxurious material to the design of this piece.

The backs of each frame are finely engraved with a guilloché pattern, the centre fully hallmarked.

The frames come with their original leather Asprey fitted case. The interior is marked with Asprey’s Royal Warrant of Appointment, previously having made pieces for the British and European royalty and other elite clientele. Lined with luxurious blue velvet, the case protects the stunning frames and its inclusion makes this a rare piece.
