This elegant sugar bowl and spoon duo, contained within a fitted box, is crafted from sterling silver by the celebrated Dublin silversmiths West & Son.

Description

This fine silver sugarbowl is by the Dublin firm West & Son, which traces its origin to 1720 and, through various permutations of name and location, finally ceased operations in 2010. The bowl is of trophy form, with a flared foot supporting the broad bowl. The bowl is mounted with twin scrolled handles.

The accompanying spoon bears a London hallmark for 1911, while the bowl bears the mark for West & Son from 1912. The duo is contained within a fitted case inscribed for West & Son.
