Kingwood and mahogany parquetry antique bedroom suite

The bedroom suite consists of a bedstead and armoire wardrobe. The armoire features a central mirrored panel bordered in ormolu which opens as a cupboard, and two flanking side cupboards paneled with kingwood marquetry. The armoire sits on four feet mounted with ormolu, and features a foliate ormolu mount to the centre bottom. The bedstead stands on four feet mounted with ormolu, and features central ormolu mounts of foliate form to each of the lower edges. The headrest and footrest of the bed feature ormolu mounts to their tops, and each feature panels of parquetry, the footrest with a central circular panel.
