Large Bohemian wheel cut ruby red glass suite

This glass in this large suite features the distinctive Bohemian ruby red overlay, into which figurative and geometrical scenes and vignettes have been wheel cut, revealing the glass below: birds, deer, trees and sprays, and buildings and castles within snippets of landscape.

The suite is comprised of a pair of globe decanters and a pair of shaft decanters (as well as four other single decanters), a pair of water jugs, five beakers, a pedestal bowl, six finger bowls, a set of four tumblers, twelve larger wine glasses, five smaller wine glasses, nine sherry glasses, nine ale glasses, a fruit bowl, and a small comport.
