Description

This fine silver salver is by the leading silversmiths Elkington & Co. The salver is circular in form, with an ornate scrollwork edge and four scroll feet below. The elegant and spare design is demonstrative of the style prevalent during the Edwardian period. The centre of the top of the salver is inscribed with a dedication reading:

“Presented to
William Noel Burrowes Perrot Esq.
by the
Staff and Officials of the
Lilleshall Co. Limited
on the occasion of his marriage
June 26th 1912”

The salver is accompanied by a fitted wooden case. The silver is fully hallmarked for Elkington, dated 1911.
