Description

After the model by Michelangelo, representing the seated biblical figure with horns, one arm on the tablets, raised on a square plinth, signed 'F. Barbedienne Fondeur' and with two inscriptions, one reading 'L'association des Anciens Élèves et des Instituteurs du Nord', the second reading, 'Inaguration de la Nouvelle École Normale 1877'.
