Description

Comprising a central clock and a pair of flanking vases, this exceptional clock set features a synthesis of earlier French styles, and a host of beautiful materials including glass, porcelain, champlevé enamel, and gilt-bronze.

The clock, with a circular porcelain dial and with hanging pendulum, is set within a case with painted porcelain and glass panels. In addition, there is a twin handled urn surmount, further flanked by three pairs of finials. The pair of lidded vases are similarly decorated with beautiful champlevé enamel work, a rare feature of certain late 19th century works, that make this set particularly high quality and appealing.
