This ormolu mounted clock set, featuring a later lapis lazuli veneer, is comprised of a central mantel clock and a pair of flanking vases. The mantel clock is constructed in an architectural manner, modelled about four lapis lazuli columns supported by a shaped base with the clock dial and pendulum housed within a glass case in the centre. The clock dial is inscribed with Roman numerals and is signed with an indistinct, partially rubbed signature. The clock case is surmounted by a large ormolu eagle, wings spread, which is cast with fine detailing.
The pair of flanking vases is decorated similarly, each one mounted with twin ormolu scrolled foliate handles, the vases topped by covers surmounted by eagle form finials. Each vase is set around the middle with classicising ormolu mounts, and each sits on a shaped square base on bun feet.
