Description

This three-tiered cake stand is supported by a central carved beechwood baluster column, which is raised by three legs. The central beechwood column supports three rotating circular shelves, each shelf bordered by a pierced ormolu (gilt bronze) gallery and inlaid with a circular porcelain plaque to the top. The porcelain plaques are painted in a red-brown pigment with landscape scenes against the white porcelain ground.
