Description

This magnificent pair of silvered bronze candelabra is by Christofle, one of the finest producers of luxury goods in France. Each candelabrum features a circular foot moulded with fluting and an encompassing laurel frieze. The central stem of each is modelled as a quiver flanked by three curved foliate arms held in place by knotted draperies, with each arm issuing splayed acanthus leaves. The central shaft culminates in an acanthus leaf moulded capital and a single foliate candleholder, while each of the three curved arms terminates in a foliate bobèche and a bud-form binet.

The candelabra are marked, stamped, and numbered.
