These fine marble pedestals are of a simple and uncomplicated form, consisting of round columns with Tuscan mounts, and square capitals and bases with rounded corners, and were made in all likelihood in France, though possbily Italy, in the latter half of the nineteenth century.
As a direct consequence of this un-complicated and clarified shape, they are perfect pieces for the display of a variety of beautiful objects, from small marble sculptures, to vases, to any other piece that would be complemented and highlighted by the light tones of these fine marble pedestals.Â
