The porcelain lamps in this pair are designed and decorated in the beautiful Rococo style. While the lamps are not true pairs, they are of the same form, and they feature very similar floral adornments. Each lamp features a vase-form body with a cylindrical central section above a gadrooned bottom and a curved top. The body of each is set on a waisted socle above a spreading circular foot, which is in turn raised upon a square-profile plinth. Each body culminates in a mouth with a pierced overhanging rim, and each is adorned with exceptionally ornate scrolling gilt handles.
The bodies of the lamps are richly coloured with bleu celeste and turquoise panels, while each is painted in horror vacui with an abundance of floral bouquets in a wide variety of pastel hued colours. The lamps are delicately parcel gilt, which beautifully accents the painted decorations.
