Dating to the late nineteenth century, these excellent mirrors are crafted in Rococo revival style, from giltwood, in a piered structure, with a slightly arched rectangular shape.Â
Otherwise simple and refined in design, they are surmounted with a decorative, floral swagged, cartouche, bead, and scrolling acathus cresting. Restrained yet expressive, simple yet effusive, they are fine pieces of Rococo design, and excellent decorative objects for any interior.
One 187cm, the other 191cm in height, both 98cm wide and 11cm in depth.
