Standing at close to a metal tall, these superb table candelabra are a splendid pair of antique lighting pieces. Of somewhat unclear continental origins, these beautiful pieces are made in a style most similar to that of Victorian makers and silversmiths Elkington & Co.
They feature a series of ten candleholders, with six on the lowest level, three around the top, and one final light that surmounts the entirety. The bases and branches are decorated with a group of superb silver-plated sculpural winged horse heads and manes, and higher up rams-heads on long extended necks. Skilfully crafted and resplendent in style, they are the lighting pieces par excellence.Â
