The centrepiece bowls in this pair are crafted from ormolu and glass in the ornate Louis XV style. Each bowl, perfectly suited to function as a champagne bowl or simply as a decorative vase, features a gadrooned glass body mounted to the rim with a foliate ormolu band and raised below by an ormolu foot moulded with acanthus leaves and rocaille forms. Each vase features twin leafy ormolu handles, with each handle surmounted by a charming seated putto holding a trident.
