A pair of Louis XV style ormolu, marquetry, and parquetry tables

These beautiful Louis XV style side tables combine a trio of skilful techniques to form a pair of works of exceptional quality of craftsmanship and sophistication. Each is fitted with a drawer and a sliding leather-topped writing panel. On the top they are decorated with a charming rectangular marquetry floral motif, and around the sides they feature a regualrly patterned parquetry friezes. They are set on four cabriole legs, and are joined by a rectangular tray, also inlaid with the same parquetry decoration, and which is mounted within an ormolu border. They pair together perfectly, or they can be matched with a larger Louis XV table to act as the ideal accompaniments.
