The marble inlaid tabletops are richly veined in shades of white and grey, and set in an ormolu frame. Pulling the delicate, cast ormolu handle reveals a writing panel. Below the writing panel is a drawer, the front of it adorned with a charming floral ormolu mount, complementing further ormolu detailing. The front panel decorated with a parquetry design, and framed by beading pattern ormolu mounts and an ormolu garland shaped handle open to reveal a marble inlaid interior.
Below the main body of each piece is a mahogany shelf beautifully decorated with a pierced ormolu gallery. Both furniture pieces stand on four fluted and reeded legs, each one terminating in ormolu feet.
