Description

This beautiful pair of Louis XVI style circular gueridon side tables are made in the manner of the esteemed French cabinetmaker, Adam Weisweiler.

The triform tables are set on three curved feet with ormolu sabots, supporting a triangular stretcher. Three twin ormolu bamboo form legs emanate from the three corners of the stretcher, leading upwards to the circular marble top. The undersides are stamped 'P. Garnier / 3296' and one table has a historic sticker marked 'Collezione Bonomi', signifying that these once formed part of the collection of Mrs. Anna Bonomi Bolchini.
