These pedestals, though produced in the 20th Century, take as their model 19th Century wooden originals. Each pedestal, the body of which is crafted from ormolu and the top of malachite, is raised on four bun feet. The feet support a curvilinear base, from which rise four cabriole style legs, the exterior surface of each leg finished with embossed beading. The malachite plateau of each pedestal is encompassed by an ormolu frame, the top surface of which is finished with a foliate frieze.
