The two ormolu (gilt bronze) candelabra feature twisted, leafy vine-like stems which stand on shaped bases, on scrolled feet. From each candelabrum stem, there unfurls three foliate, winding arms. These arms support leafy drip-pans and urn-shaped capitals with sconces. One candelabrum’s central arm curves to the left, while the other curves to the right. The candelabra thus complement one another’s form when placed side by side.
The candelabra will look beautiful once fitted with candles and placed on a mantelpiece or table in a well-furnished interior.
