The glass ewers (or jugs) are of typical form, with shaped spouts and cylindrical necks on ovoid bodies which stand on splayed feet. Each ewer is fitted with a single, looping handle.
The clear glass ewers are covered with a white and blue overlay. They feature clear floral shapes, panels and medallions. The panels on their bodies are filled with parcel gilt patterns, and the medallions on the ewers’ feet and necks are ornamented with raised red enamel beads, imitating jewels. Elsewhere, the ewers are decorated with gilt bands, scrollwork and foliate patterns.
