Description

Each vase is supported on a flared foot and features a body with four octagonal sides, topped by a mushroom-shaped neck with a flared top.

The vases are beautifully decorated with cloisonné enamel designs. They feature light pink, blue and purple peony flowers with orangey-yellow leaves against lime-green grounds. The vases’ feet are edged with iron-red scrollwork bands and their bodies are decorated with rectangular iron-red frames containing depictions of riverscapes and birds surrounded by peony and chrysanthemum flowers, against white grounds. The necks feature similar white panels decorated with flowers and set within iron-red cartouche-shaped frames. Their flared tops are edged with green stiff-leaf bands and iron-red ruyi heads.
