Pair of 'ribbon' contemporary silver candlesticks

These sculptural free-flowing candlesticks have been constructed from multiple layers of silver wire and were made to resemble soft ribbons. The use of polished wiring is juxtaposed with the matted chased finish.

Each candlestick is signed with the artist's initials and fully hallmarked to London 2020.

Nan Nan Liu is a celebrated Chinese contemporary silversmith based in London. She has exhibited worldwide and her work can be found at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London (Museum number FE.45-2019).
