The wooden guéridons (circular side tables) are of matching design. Each table stands on four squared and tapered legs which are shaped like term sculptures. The legs are topped by ormolu (gilt bronze) female busts and they terminate in ormolu human feet. They are linked by stretchers which are centred on ormolu rosettes and flowers. Ormolu stylised foliage trails are mounted onto the legs, just below the busts. The tables feature circular tops, their friezes decorated with ormolu motifs, including wreaths and rosettes flanked by stylised palmettes. The tables’ flat tops are encircled by ormolu bands.
